The 3/11/08 issue of Soap Opera Digest has a nice interview with Thad Luckinbill, J.T, and Amelia Heinle, Victoria, of The Young and the Restless. They were married last March in a small ceremony in Montana and became parents to Thaddeus Rowe Luckinbill, who goes by Rowe, in November. Rowe is growing very well and is currently so big, he is off the height and weight growth charts. My 2nd son was born in December and he's around the 15th percentile, so Rowe is a really big boy.
Amelia said the most surprising part of a having a baby this time around is how hard the sleep deprivation is. Getting hardly any sleep and the added stress make having a new baby exhausting. I know I agree. My oldest is 3 and he was a preemie, so I absolutely had to feed him every 3 hours even if he was sleeping. This time around I let my son sleep until he woke up once we got past the first few weeks. Fortunately he's sleeping 7 - 8 hours straight during the night, but sleeping a couple of hours at a time really wears you down. I started getting dizzy and light headed. Thank goodness I've had a long maternity leave.

Amelia had a C-section, while her first child, August, 12, with Michael Weatherly, was a natural delivery. August is a "perfect older brother" who loves Rowe.
Amelia was 22 when August was born.
Thad is a good dad who changes diapers. He is also a really good stepdad. He let his relationship with August "develop slowly into something really nice."
Amelia would like more kids, but not now and isn't quite sure if having more will happen. She would love to have a girl though.
